Absolutely not! Cultured pearls are formed by nature (Mollusk/Oyesters etc.) by initiation from human. They are formed in their natural habitat and not in labs. The reason pearls are cultured due to time saved to cater huge demand. A natural pearl formation happens in 24-48 months where as with right intervention, humans can help an oyster form pearl in half the time.
Pearls are delicate and can be damaged by perfumes, makeup, and hair sprays. Always wear your pearls after applying cosmetics and remove them before undressing to avoid snagging or exposure to chemicals. Gently wipe your pearl jewellery with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove body oils, sweat, or residue. This keeps the nacre (pearlÕs outer layer) shiny and prevents dullness. Store pearls in a soft cloth pouch or a fabric-lined boxÑnever with other jewelleryÑto prevent scratches. Pearls need moisture, so avoid storing them in airtight plastic bags for long periods.
