Absolutely not! Cultured pearls are formed by nature (Mollusk/Oyesters etc.) by initiation from human. They are formed in their natural habitat and not in labs. The reason pearls are cultured due to time saved to cater huge demand. A natural pearl formation happens in 24-48 months where as with right intervention, humans can help an oyster form pearl in half the time.
Pearls are delicate and can be damaged by perfumes, makeup, and hair sprays. Always wear your pearls after applying cosmetics and remove them before undressing to avoid snagging or exposure to chemicals.
